How could you help to bring Nurture to life?

Every project that Nurture CIC work on has a focus on mental health, community wellbeing and giving back to the natural world. We’re fortunate to have some fantastic volunteers, partners and funders on board who support the community interest activities which wouldn’t be possible without them.

As a community interest company, some of the most important work we do relies on our wonderful team of volunteers. If you’re passionate about nature and wellbeing and are looking to gain valuable volunteer experience, this role is for you.
We aim to create a welcoming and rewarding volunteer community that offers a variety of roles. You will have the opportunity to be at the heart of a growing project, gain valuable experience, learn new skills, use your spare time in a positive way to help the local community, and meet new people. As for our volunteers? We want reliable, passionate, hard-working team-players who care about the natural world.
There’s a variety of roles, including online and remote roles such as carrying out research, social media opportunities and making contacts on behalf of the project, or more hands on work at the Woodmeadow Walk site such as surveying, planting, rewinding, and creating habitats for wildlife and conservation work. We are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive volunteering community, therefore our opportunities are open to everyone regardless of experience and background.

We want to support as many communities as we can, and believe that better access to biodiverse places of happiness is one of the most important ways we can do that. If you think Nurture could help your community, we’d love to hear your ideas. You could help us to bring Nurture’s projects to life, so please get in touch.
